Sunday, July 31, 2005 ....[*[shopping spree]*]....
My sis and I accompanied mom to the grocery today... well the original idea was to buy a nonstick pan and some foods.. but instead of buying foods and stuffs.. we ended up shopping... XD (though we went home with a frying pan too). The two.. (mom and patch) spent hours at ideal vision trying to find glasses that will suit them while I on the other hand scouted for contact lenses.. ^_^;; after that.. with the three of us still not satisfied.. we also ended up with three pairs of shoes... one for each of us.. (oh dear.. ). I think Patchie also bought a watch after that.. Mom seemed to be in the mood to spend so much today.. XD wahahah! so much for a family day.. my two brothers were left in the house.. playing nonstop... what can we expect? boys hate shopping. Nah... don't call me "kikay" or whatever.. i'm just psyching up for a lllooonnnnggg school week.. you know... lots and lotsa school works.. ^^ By the way.. before i forget.. "Thanks Camz!" hehe.. she paid for my foods last Friday.. (buddy date! weee!) hhmmm... i guess that's all for now.. ^^;;

The University of the Philippines Anime Manga Enthusiasts is currently looking for interested bands, performers and emcees for its upcoming second fair dubbed “kAME ulit! The Premiere Collegiate Anime Fair in the Philippines.” What: Band / Performer(s) / Emcee(s) AUDITIONS When: August 20, 2005 (Saturday) Time: 9 am - 6 pm Where: RED DAMIEN STUDIOS (#7 Uranus St., Congressional Subd. Brgy. Bahay Toro, QC 1100) Click here for map Additional Details: Songs may be anime songs, J-pop and/or J-rock. Bands and Performers can perform up to 2 songs. Bands will be given 10 minutes for setup and performance; Performers will be given 5 minutes for their performance. Performances may be song and/or dance. weeee! i have a new laptop... XD its a super slim version but it is kinda heavy... T-T i've been whining for that for ages already that's why i'm really happy and even excited to post mundane things here... thanks mom and pop! ^^ MWAH! anyway.. i just thought i'd share that. ^^ By the way.. someone asked me why audition is needed for the fair concert..well.. we just thought that every band should be given an equal opportunity.. ^^ if some of you still have questions in mind... don't hesitate to tag here, msg/txt, or email me. Just passing by.. heheh there was another bomb threat in cmc today... i guess that guy doesn't know what to do with his life.. XD anyways.. classes were not suspended but policemen were everywhere again... By the way.. there seemed to be a problem with my blog layout.. the main picture became small.. is it just the windows XP or what?
Monday, July 18, 2005 ....[*[Of bomb threats, House of Flyring Daggers and a Crazy Man]*]....
Surpise surprise! I was able to update this blog again.. I dunno but while doing my film critique for "House of Flying Daggers" i couldn't help but make another file for the blog. XD anyway, the movie was great.. very cinematic but I didn't liked it very much simply because of lack of story and character development. Great choreography and costumes but was too melodramatic for me.. (sowee for those who loved this film *peace*). Anyhow! about bomb threats and crazy man... while i was walking towards cmc.. i saw a crazy naked man.. who believes that he's the jungle boy and made all sorts of funny "jungle noises". There was a guard after him but he wasn't taking the necessary steps to shoo him away.. i don't know if he was afraid... XD What I did? run like a crazy girl just to avoid the guy! Jeez! It was really traumatic... That was last thursday. Oh well! What about the bomb threats? Well... after I finished ALL of the readings for my saturday class.. I also came early (my class was at 8:30) and on my way to cmc.. i saw students outside the building.. i was sorta confused coz all of my classmates were outside too.. they called me and told me that there was a bomb threat.. SERIOUSLY? of all UP buildings, why cmc? I didn't believe them until I saw police cars and officers roaming around... and because of that... classes were suspended... what a bummer again. By the way.. here are some of the pictures during the CRS orientation and first night funk... there's a pic of me singing too... XD since i wasn't able to practice... my performance sort of became "the practice"... talk about lucky week! We've also had all sorts of research proposals to be submitted next week.. since 2 of my commres teachers will be in Beijing next week to present their papers... they left us with so many works. ^_^ oh well.. that's life! Oooh.. i forgot... i'm also quite happy coz my other cat gave birth already... lolz... la lang.... ^^;;Surpise surprise! I was able to update this blog again.. sorry i wasn't able to post anything last week... coz i've got lotsa stuffs to do.. school and org things ya know... In fact.. 'tis already a miracle that i had the time to squeeze one post this week.. la lang.. i juz felt like i had to update this thingie... i felt awful coz i don't have enough time to do the layout i was planning... anyways... that will push through... although not this time... after midterms maybe... I'm also planning to add a photo gallery here... my photos... well you can call me narcissistic but i can't do anything about it.. *wink*. Anyhow.. commressoc's applicants orientation will be on tuesday and guess what? I'ma going to sing again.. gee... in demand! lolz Too bad i don't have time to practice for that.. i'm juz going to do a number i've already done sometime during my center for pop shows.. My dad insisted that i should sing "Objection Tango" of Shakira.. which i sang during our practicum at Padi's point Edsa central.. (too many facts eh?).. coz that's one of his personal favorites.. (i dunno why).. i also won the "best in tonal quality" award for that one... jeez! but i don't feel like dancing tango or doing another hip shaker for that matter... that song requires too much energy! My other choice was "Fighter" (which i sang during our mall show) and "Better Days" but those songs require too much vocal prowess.. i'm in no mood to belt out! I wuz also looking for my Celine Dion minus one but it's missing! XD In the end... i opted to sing "run to you"... XD not too powerful.. not too grand.. but i guess that will do.. besides.. i don't have to practice for that one.. ^^ Oh by the way.. i have another cutesy kitty... but my lil bro named it "vester"! How original! XD Anyway.. thanks again to meowmeow for topping up my RO account! (sponsor... weee!) He also made another crusader for me.. (this time its an agi crusader).. well you can't blame me.. i really don't have enough time to play now... *sob* i can't even budget my time between studies, orgs, RO and meowmeow! *sigh* oh dear.. i've written so much already... and i still hafta review for my jap 11 exam... weee!!! anyway.. till next week guys! (i'm assuming that i'd still be loaded in the next few weeks so i can only update this during weekends). Bye for now! MWAH!
